Who or what has failed - God, Man, Religion or Nations?
63Help Redeem our World!
At a time when we are facing a global financial crisis, it is imperative to ask what has really gone wrong in our world. Is it God, man, religion or nations that have failed? With the ever increasing conflicts among people of different nations as well as of the same nations, corruption, suicide, murder and rapid disappearance of family and moral values, it becomes apparent that our world is plagued by ills.
God has always remained as an imaginary and even powerless figure to some throughout history. However, given the time I have spent studying science, the magnitude of the unknowns suggest that nature is very complex and our understanding very limited. Whether this complexity is controlled and managed by an almighty remains an issue of personal opinion and belief. Some in doubt feel that an almighty would not let the things that have happened to them occur while others seek him as a sanctuary when they feel they have no other option.
Men have become increasingly controlled by the immediate things in their environment that control or dictate the pace of their daily survival. It is common to find people who pray only when they were about to board a flight or those who worship their Sunday morning work shift instead of keeping the Sabbath day holy. Work is the avenue through which people earn wages that enables them to continue to survive. Therefore, is it for a man desperate to survive to say no to a job because of falls at a time meant for service to God or for nations to make provision for alternative times that those who wish to partake in service that make up for work.
Religion on its part has not helped matters at all. It is very common nowadays to hear or read about child molestation as well as involvement in fornication and extramarital affairs by religious leaders. In addition, religious bodies have joined gone as far as ordaining gay leaders which is like a death sentence to family as an entity built on a heterosexual foundation. Such actions do not help the non-believer nor does it help to strengthen any faith. Furthermore, even when some were in doubt, there was a certain moral lesson that especially children could learn from religion. Such lessons have in the past been crucial in shaping the life and dictating values that children lived with to grow up as useful adults in society. As religious bodies continue to show negative examples, so too is the danger of complete collapse of moral values increasing. The problems that have arisen in religious bodies are explained by some as dynamism of life itself and therefore not to be questioned. Here, again, it is a matter of where you find yourself and how you look at it. In any case, we need to examine and re-examine our position to know who or what has failed and what remedies are available.
Nations have not helped on various issues because leaders have increasingly become greedy with more interest in personal gains and less concern for future generations. Passing laws to legalise gay marriages is now the order of the day and opponents are often brandished as segregationists. Do we ask ourselves whether we were conceived through a same sex relationship? Developments in science have made child birth possible in ways different from the customary and adoption is an option for all who desire to have children. But then, to these children, when raised in a same sex relation, what do we tell them a family is and what values are there to uphold. On this as well, proponents and opponents advance reasons for their decisions or positions aplenty. It is known that nations hold the power to control what goes on in society and what future generations inherit is an indication of what is to come for a nation. The time is now for adequate preparation to be done to ensure nations do not go down in history as what failed. This is because once the controlling authority does not take its responsibility to act responsibly, confusion easily sets in and the consequences for all may be grave. Therefore, at this point who or has failed?

This was very interesting I've all was believed that at this point God is letting us destroy our selves only the strong will survive and we get our strength from God
God is not to blame! The Bible itself says at Job 34:12-"Yes, for a fact, God himself does not act wickedly, and the Almighty himself does not pervert judgement." Rather the bible points to the real source of wickedness at 1John 5:19 where it says,"The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." Revelation 12:9,12 proves this further when it says,"So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him...Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the devil has come down to you having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time." Again the bible speaks for itself in defense of God. God has not abandoned us to ourselves, rather he is providing a way out. One of Gods promises to us can be found at Psalm 37:10,11,29 where it says,"And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;and you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will posess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous themselves will posess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it." God will take care of all those who truly love him and want to know the truth about him. To those who are searching for him, He will let himself be found.

Religion failed because it has no direct connection to a deity, than does the lay person.
